Life doesn’t need to be a constant struggle

You might be struggling with mental health issues like anxiety and depression and haven’t found help from talk therapy.

Or maybe you often find yourself drained catering to other people’s needs and overlooking your own, and worried that you’ll be judged if you show up as fully yourself…

I bet you’d like to find more joy and confidence and start getting your voice heard. What if you could trust yourself and freely show up in the world as who you are?

Psst! Teenager or young adult having a hard time?

If you want to skip the point, follow these blue boxes. There’s help available for you too.

Don’t limit yourself to words

Whether you have a diagnosed mental health problem or you just want to understand yourself better to break out of old patterns, music therapy can help you feel better.

You don’t have to put everything to words immediately. You can let the music speak for you first, for example by sharing a song that touches you.

Musical training or experience is not required!

Sävelkulku – my business name – is Finnish for a melody.
In Finnish the word consists of the words note and to move or travel.
The way I see it, I’m travelling alongside you on your journey deeper into yourself,
accompanied with the musical notes you decide to take with you.

Anni is one of the most warm-hearted and most patient people I know. She’s able to listen and be present in a way that you feel truly seen. Your problems start to unravel just because someone listens and supports you.

Music Therapy

Tell me about the song that speaks about you…

Music therapy is a creative form of therapy where music is used to make emotional processing easier. With music, it’s possible to get in touch with your emotions even when there are no words.

Music therapy is useful for all ages and a wide range of mental health challenges. It’s based on scientific research and is part of public healthcare. I also take private clients.

My office is in Kirkkonummi, Finland. Online therapy is also possible.

If you’re 16-25 years old and in Finland, you can get music therapy through public healthcare.

It was easy to work with you. I didn’t have to consider what kind of issues I would dare talk about. That’s how a therapist should be, that you don’t have to think if they can handle the bad things or what they will think about them.

If you’re a teenager or young adult looking for a therapist in Finland

In music therapy you can express yourself through any kind of music that you like. You don’t always have to talk – music will tell me how you feel.

A few words about my values and social justice

Equality and social justice are important to me.

In my work I want to offer everyone a safe, non-judgemental space and the freedom to be who you are without hiding or apologizing, regardless of gender, ethnicity, ability or religious beliefs.

I also recognize the diversity of sexuality, gender and relationships, and do my best to respect and raise awareness about these issues in my daily life.
